2023 Hotel Tips

It's pretty much a safe bet to assume Coachella 2023 Weekend 1 will be April 14-16 and Weekend 2 will be April 21-23 even though the dates haven't been formally announced yet.

Once again the Hilton Garden Inn in Rancho Mirage currently has some modest rates available right now via hilton.com.

For both weekends:

• average of $211 per night standard / $207 per night HHonors members and AAA members, plus taxes, for room with two queen beds nonrefundable--pay now
• average of $218 per night standard / $213 per night HHonors members and AAA members, plus taxes, for room with a king size bed nonrefundable--pay now
• average of $224 per night standard / $220 per night HHonors member, plus taxes, for room with two queen beds semi-flex rate--can cancel or change five days prior to arrival
• average of $231 per night standard / $227 per night HHonors member, plus taxes, for room with two queen beds semi-flex rate--can cancel or change five days prior to arrival
• average of $229 per night standard / $222 per night HHonors members and AAA members, plus taxes, for room with two queen beds flexible rate--can cancel or change one day prior to arrival
• average of $236 per night standard / $228 per night HHonors members and AAA members, plus taxes, for room with a king size bed flexible rate--can cancel or change one day prior to arrival

All rates are single or double occupancy based on a four-night stay with a check-in Thursday, April 13 or 20 and check-out Monday, April 17 or 24. The average rates may be up to $2 higher for a three-night stay with a check-in Firday, April 14 or 21. Breakfast is not included.

Update: The Hilton Garden Inn non-festival-inflated rates are no longer available on the hilton.com website. In fact, no rooms can presently be booked. Apparently they were only made available due to a "website glitch." There are several online accounts of people who booked at these rates getting their reservations canceled. That really sucks!
