Surprised to see Weekend 1 pass still available at 5 pm PST. I also see that there are still Tier 2 passes available for Weekend 2. I seem to remember weekend 1 selling out on the first day the past few years.

Yep, almost half a day after the public general sale started, W1 passes are still available and without mandatory packaging of shuttle passes, which bucks the trend of allegedly selling out often within 3-4 hours (if not sooner) of recent years. Yes, notice they are using "no longer available" verbiage for Weekend 1 passes as opposed to "sold out." However, Weekend 2 passes are still available from the general sale and are back at Tier 2 price levels without shuttle atm. I would speculate that W2 pass sales are well below expectations rn and GV is pushing new sales towards that weekend to try to balance crowds out a little more.

GV and AXS have announced and put on sale today "limited" (that is the term they are using) W1 GA passes at Tier 3, GA + shuttle at Tier 2, and VIP at Tier 2 passes via general sale at https://www.axs.com/festivals/446001.
