After a temporary move to September last year, the Pitchfork Music Festival is reverting back to its usual mid-July weekend dates for 2022. It will be held July 15-17 at Union Park in Chicago. The lineup was released last week. Keeping true to its roots, it features a really good diverse assortment of indie artists and bands spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, soul, R&B, electronic, and even jazz. And in contrast to other mid-size and big U.S. multi-genre music festivals, about two-thirds of the acts are either women or female-fronted.

Three-day passes are now on sale for $200 plus service fee for GA and $399 plus service fee for GA+. Individual day tickets are $99 plus service fee for GA and $199 plus service fee for GA+.
A COVID health and safety policy is TBA.
I really like this lineup and hope to be able to go.
