The fourth edition of the Kilby Block Party will be held the weekend of May 12-14 at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. This independently-run music festival, associated with music venue Kilby Count, is expanding this year in scope beyond the confines of downtown SLC and to three days. The full lineup and daily breakdowns were revealed last week after the Coachella lineup announcement. If features a superb collection of contemporary and legacy indie rock/pop acts.

Daily breakdowns are:
FRIDAY - Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Dominic Fike, Japanese Breakfast, Cuco, Remi Wolf, Lucius, Ritt Momney, Frankie Cosmos, Jean Dawson, Alice Phoebe Lou, Deerhoof, Westerman, Julie, Momma, NoSo, Miya Folick, The Plastic Cherries, Homephone, and Sunhills
SATURDAY - The Strokes, Run The Jewels, Hippo Campus, Caroline Polacheck, Goth Babe, Alex G, Osees, Weyes Blood, Gus Dapperton, Indigo De Souza, Dreamer Isioma, The Moss, Wallice, Tamino, Grave Ives, Tanukichan, Sunsleeper, Kipper Snack, Hi Again, Anais Chantal, and Josh Doss & The Cancers
SUNDAY - Pavement, Pixies, The Backseat Lovers, The Walkmen, Parquet Courts, Surf Curse, Faye Webster, Crumb, Ethel Cain, Wednesday, Kate Bollinger, Spill Tab, Mannequin Pussy, Deeper, Tolchok Trio, Worlds Worst, Fonteyn, Backhand, Musor
Compared to other corporate music festivals, ticket prices for this level of talent are quite reasonable, especially VIP. Three-day GA, VIP, and Super VIP passes are available for purchase at $209, $299, and $399 plus service fee. One-day GA, VIP, and Super VIP tickets are $85, $129, and $179 plus service fee. Three-day pass holders get in-and-out privileges.
Coachella crossover artists include: Dominic Fike, Remi Wolf, Alex G, Weyes Blood, Ethel Cain, and Momma. Since it is the same weekend as Just Like Heaven festival in Pasadena, there will probably be a few acts on Friday and Sunday that are shared.
The only drawback is this festival is the same weekend as JLH. I would definitely go to this if it wasn't.
