California Roots 2023

The annual California Roots music and arts festival from Good Vibez Presents is happening right now over a four-day Memorial Day weekend span from May 25 to 28 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, CA. This is the same venue where the historic Monterey Pop Festival took place many years ago. Cali Roots features a standard bunch of contemporary and legacy reggae-roots rock, reggae, hip-hop, dub, ska, hand bro-rock acts. There's not exactly a lot of female or female-fronted acts on the 2023 lineup, but I guess that goes with the territory.

3-day (Fri-Sat-Sun) and single day GA tickets are still available from TIXR at $385 and $151-161, which includes fees and taxes.

Cali Roots is being live streamed via a YouTube single channel all weekend.

Lots of chill vibez and probably some lots of good herbs there as well this weekend!
