I assume the Bowl website is correct and the Pool is GA.

Offhand, I don't think I have ever been to a Bowl show in the pool that was not assigned seating. Need to think about it. I believe that YYY's/LCD show (which I missed) was GA/pool. And maybe artists can request it for lease events?

I'm pretty sure I've gotten several tickets in the past that have seat assignments on the ticket even though it's a GA admit. I think it's just designed that way in some cases because it's easier for the ticketing system. I would take the Bowl's website at its word.

The pool area is not that big. You won't be let down showing up late unless you were planning to be right at the front.

For yeah yeah yeahs, I got there 10 minutes before and walked right up to the rail. Then when I left for meetups and bathroom break, I got back during the first LCD song and was easily able to get just a few rows back since it was very open.

I'm happy with Gary Clark and Lord Huron. Chromeo is fun as well but I've seen them a number of times already. I don't really know Natalie Lafourcade's music...will have to listen.

I renewed my subscription a couple months ago and already got tickets for Death Cab. I'm glad they allow you to exchange for other shows without any fees. There's some others on the schedule that I'll consider transferring into:
                        - Leon Bridges
                        - Nile Rodgers
                        - Gipsy Kings
                        - The Roots
                        - Buddy Guy
                        - Ben Harper
                        - Chrissie Hynde

Not a very inspiring Bowl calendar, but will say the classical music line-up is pretty good this year - Stravinsky's Petrushka, Beethoven's 9th, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Berlioz' Symphonie fantastique, all of the Dudamel nights.... nothing particularly adventurous, but the selection is nice. About the only shows outside the classical stuff that I definitely want to see are Chic and Earth, Wind & Fire. Maybe the Gladys Knight and Chrissie Hynde shows.
